Carpe Diem Hostel
Description
This is a Day hostel (as well as night, of course). If your train comes in early in the morning (and most of the ferries depart in the late afternoon or early evening) we can offer you transport to and from the hostel/train station/port/beach. A day stay also includes hot showers, bed (clean sheets included), luggage deposit, and anything else a weary traveller would need for their day stay in Bindisi. The day stay rate is 6.00 Euros all inclusive. (Train station luggage deposit and a shower in any public facility would cost 7.00 Euros without extra services).
Our young, English speaking personnel will make sure that you�ll find a warm, welcoming, international, and relaxed atmosphere. We offer everything you may need for the perfect break during your trip. The building itself is open, spacious and airy, and there are places to relax, read, enjoy the sun, and of course there is a vibrant social atmosphere at no extra charge.
We are also close to the beach and harbor and provide daily trips to the beach, drop off and pick up in time to catch the ferry.
There is no lock-out. There are 2 TVs (satellite) and the occasional film to enjoy. There is also music and caring staff. The atmosphere here is very homely and enjoyable: you wont want to leave!
Our facilities include internet access, phone (we sell phone cards if needed), laundry, library & book exchange, bar/caf� (open reeeeaaally late), private parking, darts & basketball, and a cozy fireplace to warm yourself and socialize by when its cold. There are also delicious home cooked meals for lunch and supper (served outside under canopy in the summertime) some of which are local favorites, and a small breakfast of cakes, fruit, juice or coffee. (Breakfast is included in room price)
The bar and caf� are private and prices are cheaper than local bars.
***We require 48 hours notice for any cancellations, change of dates or length of stay to all bookings or you will be charged for your entire stay booked***

How to get here?... It's really easy!
By Train:
Several trains connect daily Brindisi with all the most important italian cities such as Rome, Naples, Milan, Venice, Florence, etc...Once you are at the train station you can either give us a call and we'll come and pick you up, or you can take the bus line no.3 or 4. IF you come by bus we will refund the cost of the bus ticket. Before taking a taxi, check with us for special deals.
By plane:
There are several daily arrivals from Milan and Rome airports.... once you get there you can either give us a call and we'll come and pick you up or take a taxi (it will cost you around Euro 8,00. Our ride obviously is free.
By ship:
Several ferries connect daily Brindisi with Patras, Corfu or Igoumenitsa (Greece).
Once you are at the port you can either call us, and get a free ride, or take a taxi (it will cost you around Euro 15,00).
By car:
Exit Brindisi Casale and follow the sign for the airport, you'll find us on the corner on your left....
