Come and enjoy the charm of rural Italy!
This is a real, authentic agriturismo. A self-sufficient Organic Farm, well-served by buses and trains, right between Rome and Naples (around 2 hours from both cities) in Abruzzi National Park - the oldest national park in Italy. The park is one of the most important and beautiful parks in the whole of Europe - unique endangered species can be found there such as marsicam bears, wolves, lynx, and golden eagles. We are located on a 12 acre farm that includes a forest, vineyard, olive grove, and meadows for pasture.
On the farm we have many animals including goats, sheep, chickens, pigs, rabbits, bees, dogs and a beautiful donkey - the mascot of the farm, everybody gets to love her. We produce olive oil, wine, and honey. We grow a variety of vegetables and fruits that guests are welcome to pick and eat for free. Our meals are home-made, traditional, and delicious. We often make handmade pasta, pizza, pies, and cakes for our guests to enjoy.
We arrange exciting activities such as hiking in Abruzzi National Park, horseback riding, Italian cooking courses, Italian language classes, Para-gliding, yoga, visit to the cheese making shepherd, searching for mushrooms, asparagus, or truffles with our dogs.
In our farm you will find a relaxing and nice atmosphere, you will be able to take a break from the chaotic and touristy cities and immerse yourself in the Italian countryside.
We have a large park along the creek where people can spend their time reading or relaxing. There are also beautiful trails around the farm where you can hike on your own. The town of Sora is an easy 40 minute walk from the farm where you can walk along the main street, sample real Italian gelato, visit the many shops, bars, and restaurants, or walk up to an old castle.

How to reach us:
When arriving from Rome: If you decide to catch the bus (ticket price €4.50, you buy it at the station) you have to catch the metro line A for Anagnina Station (the main bus station in Rome) and then buy the ticket and catch a bus for Sora ( it is the very last stop so do not worry about missing your stop). We will pick you up from Sora to take you the farm ( this is a free service) . You just have to let us know an approximate time of arrival. Then please phone us from Sora. It takes just 10 to 15 minutes to reach the station from the farm by car.

From Naples by bus: There is a bus that takes you straight to Sora from Naples (the bus does not run on Sunday and holidays). It leaves from Piazza Garibaldi (just in front of the main train station). The name of the company is ARPA it heads to Avezzano and stops in Sora. It will take 2 and half hours. It is €9 and you pay on the bus. It leaves at 2:30 p.m.
From Naples by train: you need to catch a train to Cassino and then either a train or bus to Sora, depending on the time. We will pick you up from Sora to take you the farm ( this is a free service). You just have to let us know an approximate time of arrival. Then please phone us from Sora. It takes just 10 to 15 minutes to reach the station from the farm by car.
From Pescara: You can catch a train to Avezzano (you may have to switch trains at Sulmona depending on the time schedule) and then a train to Sora.
TO USE FREE PICK-UP FROM SORA STATION: Please, bear in mind that the only way you can rely on this service, is for you to inform us beforehand - if the phone does not have signal you can leave a voice message, it works the same. Let us know the departure time of the bus or train you are going to catch so we know approximately when you will get to Sora and somebody will be available during that time. Then, once in Sora please phone us again, to confirm your actual arrival at the train station or bus stop (they are next to each other). You will just need to wait 5-10 minutes. The approximate distance from Sora station to italyfarmstay is 6 kilometres (3,7 miles). Once you get to the Sora station please wait for us at Federico pizzeria, just in front of the station.
IN ALTERNATIVE, you will need to catch a taxi, you can arrange it from “Federico Pizza shop” (English is spoken there, also available is information about buses, trains and the area). Federico Pizzeria is located just in front of the station. The taxi car is a white fiat van for 9 people. It does not have a taxi sign on it and you just need to tell him Antonello – italyfarmstay.
The taxi ride to Pescosolido is €10 to go to our farm - italyfarmstay you will get €2 discount.
